American Cornhole is once again excited to share with you our newest member of the ACO Team, Brian Stinnett.
Brian graduated from Brescia College in 1996 (now Brescia University). He earned a degree in K-12 Special Education, as well as an English and Communications degree. He currently is employeed at Options Unlimited and has been there for the last 10 years. Options Unlimited assists in finding individuals with various disabilities employment opportunities in Jefferson and Bullitt County in Kentucky. During the past 10 years, Brian has been rewarded by placing over 100 individuals with full time or part time work positions. He assisted in the development of the Greater Business Leadership Network in 2005 and was chairperson for two years. He also was awarded the Timothy D. Estes Award at the 2006 KY APSE State Conference for imagination and and innovation in Supported Employment.
Brian is married to Sara, his beautiful and hard working wife. They have a son named Connor who is almost 14 months old. Connor is the pride and joy of Brian, who says words cannot express the amount of love he has for him.
Brian was introduced to cornhole the summer of 2005 at a friend’s house and has loved it ever since. Soon after, he got his own set of boards and bags and started playing regularly. Not long after that, he started planning cornhole tournaments for friends and family, which planning tournaments, golf or cornhole, is something he has done his entire life. Brian enjoys being able to plan events and outings for people. By being part of the ACO Team he can continue to do what he loves but at the same time help champion the cause of taking the game of cornhole to a entirely new level in the Louisville, KY market.
Here are a few of Brians thoughts on American Cornhole:
I am so excited to be a part of the American Cornhole team. After researching the organization and talking with Frank Geers, I knew the ACO was where I wanted to focus my energy in the growth of the sport of cornhole. My main interest before I signed on was focused on the development of making cornhole a respected and recognized sport in the coming years. As well as, all of the ACO products are hands down the best in the industry and a must for all social and competitive players. With the structure of Cornholeplayers.com, Skills Challenges, CornyForty standings and all the other plans for the ACO it was an absolute no brainer to get involved and promote the ACO.
My first ACO sanctioned Singles tournament is scheduled for Oct. 11, 2008. You can find about it on cornholeplayers.com
I can’t wait to bring Louisville their first Master Series tournament, the Turkey Hole Classic on Nov. 29, 2008
Game On!
