Whose on the HoleHeadz list?

The first ever HoleHeadz Festival begins tomorrow - June 26, 2009.

We have campers coming in from all over. Here is a current list of some of the teams registered as of 6/25/09 to compete in Saturdays Doubles Cornhole Madness taking place in Carrollton, KY.

Cornhole Sale!

American Cornhole is celebrating National Cornhole Day by hosting the first ever HoleHeadz Fest in Carrollton, KY at Point Park.

We will be setting up 30 cornhole systems that will include one set of Classic Boards / one ScoreDude / 4 red and 4 blue Classic Canvas Bags - we will be making available to the players for purchase this equipment at a reduced savings of between 20% to 30% discount. The pieces can be purchased as a complete set for one low price of $165.00 including boards, scoredude, and bags - players will be able to take their set home with them after the tournament is over Saturday evening.

We will also make available the pieces to purchase seperately. This is only limited to the 30 units being used at the event and is only a special running this weekend.

CLASSIC SERIES BOARD SALE! (boards unfinished no varnish or paint - blank)

These boards retail for $119.95 in our store and online for $99.00 plus freight of about $25.00.

We have decided to make some changes for the better in the tournaments set for the weekend of June 26 & 27
FRIDAY NIGHT will now be a $1000.00 GUARANTEED
LUCK OF THE DRAW TOURNAMENT
- First Place Team - Wins $400.00
- Second Place Team - Wins $300.00
- Third Place Team - Wins $200.00
- Fourth Place Team - Wins $100.00

Players can opt to play in only this tournament for a $20.00 entry fee per person or they can play in both the Friday and Saturday events for the $65.00 entry in advance ($50.00 for ACO Members)

SATURDAY will now be a $4000.00 GUARANTEED
DOUBLES MADNESS TOURNAMENT
Top Eight (8) Teams each win $500.00

June 26, 2009 FRIDAY NIGHT

The Itinerary:

6:00PM - Open Courts
6:00PM to 8:00PM - Registration Luck of Draw & Doubles Madness
8:00PM - Teams Drawn & Brackets Built
8:30PM - Tournament Begins TOURNAMENT RUNS UNTIL IT IS OVER

Pick up games and challenges will be going on throughout the night on the side as well.


June 27, 2009 SATURDAY

The Itinerary:
9:00AM - Open Courts
10:00AM - 11:30AM Registration
12:00PM - Doubles Madness Begins
12:00PM - Seven21 Begins - a teams total score will be used for seeding in the doubles tournament, a players individual score will be used to seed in singles tournament
1:00PM - Doubles Tournament Begins (or after Seven Twenty One completed and doubles bracket is built) - Best two of three winner moves on
5:00PM - Singles Tournaments Begin (or after doubles tournament is completed) Best two of three winner moves on 7:00PM - AirMail Challenges Begin - All players who are out of live tournament play will be on standby to pitch their AirMail Challenge - We will have 8 players pitching at any one time.
6:00PM to 8:00PM - Live Music
8:00PM to 11:00PM - DJ

SPECIAL BONUS

Top Scoring Seven21 Player for both the A Division (Competitive Player) and B Division (Amateur Player) will win one of the AC's new ScoreDudes being showcased at the event.

Top Scoring AirMail Challenges for both the A Division (Competitive Player) and B Division (Amateur Player) will win one of the AC's new Classic Series Boards sets being showcased at the event.

Space is limited for the $5000 tournament but there will be no limit to the HoleHeadz allowed to come out to Carrollton, KY just to hang out with other cornhole freaks from around the country to celebrate National Cornhole Day at the HoleHeadz Fest '09 this June 26 & 27, 2009. So if you don't get into the tournament in time or just don't want to play in the tournament feel free to still come on over to Carrollton to chill out with us.

Soldier Field Hosts Cornhole Tournament

Look out Chicago - American Cornhole has partnered with one of the most recognizable sports facilities in the world, Soldier Field.

We are starting our relationship as early as July 17th. The ACO will be running an event called the Soldier Field Cornhole Bash at Max-McCook Athletic & Exposition from 6:00PM until Midnight Friday July 17th.

- FREE Open Play Cornhole - (64 courts on hand)

- $25 Advance Registration Event - $20.00 ACO Members

- Guaranteed $500.00 purse

This event is open to anyone that can pitch a bag. This is a pre-tailgate party the day before the big dance July 18th at Soldier Field.

Saturday July 18th at Soldier Field will be the Soldier Field Cornhole Classic featuring the Maize Kraze "TopGun" Singles Tournament, an ACO Sanctioned event. Open to all ACO Pros, Semi Pros, and any Amateur wanting to see how they stack up against the best.

There are other divisions available as well from COMPETITIVE DOUBLES / SOCIAL DOUBLES / SOCIAL SINGLES - for more details and registration go to www.SoldierField.net/sfcornholeclassic These other divisions are Non-Sanctioned ACO events but do have very nice guaranteed prize money and will be run first class by the Soldier Field crew. (special notice - all TopGun Singles players will be eligible to play in the Competitive Doubles)

The American Cornhole Organization is very pleased and honored to be working with the team from Soldier Field. We know this is just the beginning of big things to come between the ACO and Soldier Field.

We are already discussing the possibility of bringing an ACO-PRO event to Soldier Field, Fall of 2009.
