American Cornhole is pleased to welcome aboard Terry Anspaugh of Walkerton, IN not far from South Bend, IN. Terry is another great addition to the ACO Team. He has been researching, playing cornhole and saving his money to start his ACO business for the last year and then in May of 2009 decided it was time for him to make his move. It was the 2008 TurkeyHole Classic in Chicago when I first had the pleasure of meeting Terry and knew at that time he was a good person, one the ACO would love to have come on board. It gives me great pleasure to meet and work with people that are passionate about this game as it will continue to fuel our success. We are pleased he is finally with us and look forward to his contributions.
Here's a few words from Terry on cornhole:
"I am hooked on this sport. I was introduced to the game a few summers ago and nobody at the time could remember just how the game was scored. So when we got home from our camping vacation, I Googled the game of Cornhole. That's when I found AmericanCornHole.com. Not only did I find out how the game was scored I found there were a bunch of fanatics like myself that were hooked as bad as I was. Some even worse. I would go to Friends house and use their boards and we would play for hours. it used to be all about horse shoes. but now you don?Tt have to worry about dirt in your beer or chipped chins from that shoe gone bad. I got the bug so bad I wanted to start a few of my own cornhole tournaments. We did one a month for the whole winter inside the American Legion post 189 of Walkerton In. it was so catchy that we started up our own league."
"From there I had to meet this guy named Frank Geers, I must of read every article, listened to every youtube spot and even went to the TurkeyHole Classic in Chicago. A few things happened at this event, One being of course I got to meet Frank, and a few of the nations topped ranked cornholers, which I can see why they are ranked up there so high,(boy did I get spanked) but I also got the feel of just where this sport is going. This is where my bug to join the ACO Team really got the fuel. Frank has a some very dedicated followers, and to be part of the growing phenomenon is truly exciting."
Please welcome Terry to the team.
