
The DerbyHole is a once a year happening taking place during Derby Fest in Louisville, KY. It is happening during the Kroger Fest-a-Ville event on the Waterfront. This tournament is limited to the first 64 teams of four players and has a $5,000 GUARANTEED PURSE.
Tournament Details are as follows:
Event: Date Saturday April 25th, Rain Date Sunday April 26th Time: 10:00a.m. Team Check In – Team captain will be responsible for checking team in – 11:00a.m. tournament begins
Where: Kentucky Derby Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront, Louisville, KY
Space: Limited to first 64 teams Structure:Teams will consist of four players – a team is limited to no more than one recognized ACO Pro or Pro Caliber Player and one Semi-Pro Caliber player OR no more than two Semi-Pro Caliber or ACO Semi-Pro players on the same team. The other players on the team must be amateur status as recognized by the ACO. Each team must consist of at least one active paid member of the ACO. A paying member of the ACO will be recognized as the team captain. At registration we will only want the paid member checking in for that team.
Cost:$200.00 per team or $50.00 a person during advance registration. If space is available day of event cost of entry will be $300.00 per team or $75.00 per person.

There will be four tournaments that make up “The DerbyHole”
Doubles Tournaments – There will be two Doubles Tournaments going on simultaneously. There will be an “A” Division Doubles tournament for the two A players or best two players on your team and a “B” Division tournament for the amateur players on your team. These tournaments will be best two of three, winner moves on loser is finished with this event. As a team advances in the bracket challenge it will result in points being earned for their team standings. The further a team advances in the tournament the more points your team earns. The most points that can be won in this tournament is 21 points for a first place finish.
POINT BREAK DOWN FOR DOUBLES TOURNAMENTS
1. First Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 32 = 6 Points Total
2. Second Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 16 = 3 Points (9 Points Total)
3. Third Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 8 = 3 Points (12 Points Total)
4. Fourth Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 4 = 3 Points (15 Points Total)
5. 2nd Place Finish = 3 Points (18 Points Total)
6. 1st Place Finish = 3 Points (21 Points Total)
Singles Tournaments – There will be two Singles Tournaments going on simultaneously. There will be an“A” Division Doubles tournament for the two A players or best two players on your team and a “B” Division tournament for the amateur players on your team. These tournaments will be best two of three, winner moves on loser is finished with this event. As a player advances in the bracket challenge it will result in points being earned for their team standings. The further a player advances in the tournament the more points your team earns. The most points that can be won in this tournament is 21 points for a first place finish. It will be structured that both players in the tournament will be on different sides of the bracket so the only point they would actually meet to play each other would be in the championship round.

1. First Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 64 = 3 Points Total
2. Second Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 32 = 3 Points (6 Points Total)
3. Third Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 16 = 3 Points (9 Points Total)
4. Fourth Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 8 = 3 Points (12 Points Total)
5. Fifth Round Win – Team Advancing to Final 4 = 3 Points (15 Points Total)
6. 2nd Place Finish = 3 Points (18 Points Total)
7. 1st Place Finish = 3 Points (21 Points Total)
American Cornhole will declare the winner of the DerbyHole around 6:00p.m. or at the end of the last match of the singles tournaments There will be Game Challenges going on throughout the day from AirMail to Seven21 that will be open to the public to participate in these events American Cornhole will have set up a Tailgate Zone showcasing the new Classic Series boards that will be open for the public to play on. Players just need to register to check out a set of bags with a driver license. These courts will be FREE OF CHARGE to play and open from 11:00a.m. until 7:00p.m.
