Attention all cornholers, you need to roll on into this sleepy little historic river community June 27th and plan on hanging around for a weekend of cornholing, eating and drinking with some fun and competitive players from around the region.

$5000 purse is guaranteed by the Carrollton/Carroll County Tourism & Convention Commission. The payouts will be as follows:

• First Place - $1250.00
• Second Place - $750.00
• Top 4 Finish - $500.00
• Top 8 Finish - $250.00
• Top 16 Finish - $125.00

Here is how this tournament will work. There will actually be four qualifying tournaments - these tournaments will have up to 64 teams in each of them. The ACO refers to them as it's Bracket 64 Tournaments. We will take the top four finishers in each of the four tournaments and move them on to compete in the Tournament of Champions to take place on Sunday June 29th starting at 10:00AM. This is the listing of the four qualifier tournaments times and dates. Bracket 64

1. Tournament I - Friday - June 27, 2008 from 8:00 until 11:00 ENTRY FEE $30.00 per team - Friday Night Tourney - jumps to $50 day of event Bracket 64
2. Tournament II - Saturday - June 28, 2008 from 9:00 until 2:00 ENTRY FEE $40.00 per team - Saturday Morning Tourney - jumps to $60.00 day of event Bracket 64
3. Tournament III - Saturday - June 28, 2008 from 2:00 until 7:00 ENTRY FEE $50.00 per team- Saturday Afternoon Tourney - jumps to $70.0 day of event Bracket 64
4. Tournament IIII - Saturday - June 28, 2008 from 7:00 until 12:00 ENTRY FEE $60.00 per team - Saturday Night Tourney - jumps to $80.00 day of event

Rules to the event:

1. Top Four Teams from each of the Bracket 64 Tournaments will advance to the Tournament of Champions Sunday Morning.

2. All sixteen teams advancing will be GUARANTEED A MINIMUM OF $125.00 in prize money.

3. Teams will be seeded based on the following: Seeds 1 thru 4 will come from our four first place finishers - we will be throwing a single team "Frame Game" Sunday morning to determine exact seedings. The exact seedings will be based on the team with the highest Frame Game score receiving the higher seed and the lower the score the lower the seed. Seeds 5 thru 8 will be determined the same way and will be coming from our second place finishers from each of the four Bracket 64 Tournaments. Seeds 9 thru 16 will be the remaining Top 4 Finishers from each tournament, which is a total of eight teams that will battle throwing a single team Frame Game as well to determine their seedings.

4. ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE STRUCTURED AS A BEST OF THREE - FIRST TEAM TO WIN TWO GAMES IN A MATCH MOVES ON AND THE LOSER IS WATCHING. 5. A team can only win one qualifier spot for theTournament of Champions. They can play in other tournaments to try and win a higher seeding for themselves but only one of their wins will count. The extra spot created by a team winning a higher seeding for themselves or more than one entry in the big dance will be a random luck of the draw between the sixteen teams that finished in the Top Eight of any one of the four tournaments. This drawing will take place Saturday evening after the completion of the Saturday Night Bracket 64 Tournament IIII. 6. No two ACO Pros allowed to be paired on same team.
