2007 Tailgate Bash

Are you itching to heat up the grill, get out the lawn chairs, turn the radio to the pre-game show and start tossing the bags? Sounds like you are ready for the 2007-08 tailgate season! This year, Easter Seals WRC has partnered with Kroger to present the first ever Tailgate Bash, featuring the World Cornhole Championship and Cornhole-athon to kickoff tailgate season on Fountain Square! Don’t miss your chance to register and help make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and disadvantages in greater Cincinnati.

This year, we are holding the area’s first-ever Cornhole-athon fundraiser. Approximately 20 teams of up to 10 players will participate in this high-energy, cornhole endurance event. Each team will play 10 hours of cornhole in 30-60 minute increments. Teams can register online beginning June 1. Once you register, you’ll be able to create a team fundraising page, which will help your team reach the $1,500 fundraising goal. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.

Tailgate Bash also features 16 of the top-ranked cornhole players from around the country in the World Cornhole Championship. This invitation-only tournament is an officially sanctioned event of the American Cornhole Organization with players competing for up to $5,000 in prize money.
