Tailgate Bash 2007
Are you itching to heat up the grill, get out the lawn chairs, turn the radio to the pre-game show and start tossing the bags? Sounds like you are ready for the 2007-08 tailgate season!
This year, Easter Seals WRC has partnered with Kroger to present the first ever Tailgate Bash, featuring the World Cornhole Championship and Cornhole-athon to kickoff tailgate season on Fountain Square! Don’t miss your chance to register and help make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities and disadvantages in greater Cincinnati.
This year, we are holding the area’s first-ever Cornhole-athon fundraiser. Approximately 20 teams of up to 10 players will participate in this high-energy, cornhole endurance event. Each team will play 10 hours of cornhole in 30-60 minute increments. Teams can register online beginning June 1. Once you register, you’ll be able to create a team fundraising page, which will help your team reach the $1,500 fundraising goal. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.
Tailgate Bash also features 16 of the top-ranked cornhole players from around the country in the World Cornhole Championship. This invitation-only tournament is an officially sanctioned event of the American Cornhole Organization with players competing for up to $5,000 in prize money.
For more information about Tailgate Bash 2007 including sponsorship, volunteer and registration opportunities, please contact Kelly Ulman, volunteer and events coordinator, at 513.386.6856. |

U bring me anyone from chicago WHO thinks they can beat me and i show u. Not a problem. Besides i've played against all your guys out there and have beat a lot of them. Even in my final match i only lost 21-17 and 21 18. I didnt get spanked and if i'm not mistaken Dewey is probably ur top 2 guy out there. I also have beaten ur cornhole king Matt Guy in doubles and in singles. It's gone back and forth with us. So u think what you want and just bring on the challange from chicago, just remeber one thing whoever u think out here CAN beat me I'm more then sure i have already spanked them several times...
thanks,
NOW WHAT! Without me tournament just wont be the same....... |

Geno,
Love you as a brother man but Cincinnati has 10 guys or more better than the best Chicago has to offer......which is you.....maybe?????
Mike Schaffer, Steve Vanderver, Michael Bailey, Dewi Dean, Rick Taylor, Randy Atha, Charlie True, Rudy Thompson, Chu, Bret Guy- who by the way is only 13 and could kick you around like nobodies business).....this just names a few of the talented players in the Cincinnati region.
That's all the "Cornhole Dude" has to say....
See you in August!
PS - we might be running a skill challenge event at the deal going on with Articulate Promotions on Soldier Field July 28th ----- you need to plan on showing up there. |

Now thats a real CLASSIC.. Half those guys u listed i can beat with my eyes closed and standing on my head and have beaten them. If that were the case then why did my son and i finish 5th and 6th in your last BIG touranment, not to say seeded 4th and 6th position. Maybe the AIR out there is real THIN and u guys only see and hear what you want! 2 funny.
As for the great GUY'S, my son and i knocked them out of a tournament that saturday and finished 2nd. Someone needs to RECOGNIZE???????
Its all good u guys just keep thinking what you want it will all come out in the END..
ENJOY.. |

| Geno, You are sounding pretty confident for someone who refuses to play me one on one for money games. Maybe you will grow a pair before I come to Chicago on July 28th. If your as good as you say then lets see what you got. Matt |

| Geno, I have been to Chicago several times and agree that you are the best player. But it is time to step up. You are always talking money games but never play me one on one when I ask you. If you are going to talk the talk then try to walk the walk. I will be in Chicago on July 28th so game on. Remember to [D Up] I love defense. I will be competing in pro singles and pro doubles with my son. Looking forward to seeing you there. By the way the last time I was in Chicago, me and my son won the doubles and finished first and second in the singles. Matt |

My son shot like #$%@ that day and ur son D UP on him. Lucky for you my ride was leaving cause i was gonna take that 1st singles without a DOUBT. Matt u remember back in the early 1800's when Russ and I beat u and Rick in the World Championship!!!! That was a long time ago... If i remember u were ranked sorta low, and Rick was ranked higher then u. That was weird, the panel must have been drunk or on DOPE. LOL
Miss ya brother, love ya and look forward to seeing you soon..
enjoy |
