An ACO Certified Official is an individual who is qualified to administer Social Skills Challenges according to the standards set by the ACO. Qualification is based on the individual's performance on the standard ACO Certified Official Exam. A Certified Official is eligible to earn commission on Social Skills Challenges administered.
To become a Certified Official:
- Order the Certified Official Exam online or by phone at 888-563-2002. The cost for each exam is $19.95 and certification is valid for one year.
- Complete and submit exam to the ACO to be evaluated. Applicants must score at least a 70% on the exam in order to be certified. Please allow the ACO 10 business days to review exam results.
Once approved, a Certified Official will be:
- Issued and mailed an ACO Certified Official card along with Social Skills Challenge forms.
- Added to the ACO database of Certified Officials and listed on Hole Magazine.
- Permitted to administer Social Skills Challenges on ACO Approved cornhole equipment to players for a period of one year.
- Responsible for sending completed Social Skills Challenge forms with proper fees to ACO headquarters so data may be entered into the Social Sixty database.
